About Al

Al Arens has been called a "searcher", "a seeker of truth, integrity and personal effectiveness." In his work with individuals, organizations and businesses he challenges people to go on a self-discovery journey, explore and examine the past and dare to go beyond what you already know and experience.

Al has learned from a varied and eclectic personal and professional history. He has learned from brilliant and influential mentors in the areas of business, finance, personal growth, self-esteem, spirituality and universal principles. His egalitarian viewpoint makes him appealing to people from all walks of life.

With an electrical engineering background and work experience with General Motors, Federal Pacific Electric and Medler Electric, he can identify and relate to the challenges in operating a successful business.

  • Adjunct Professor - Davenport University - 1996 to 2001
  • Graduate Assistant - Dale Carnegie Course on Effective Leadership
  • Married for 40 years to Alberta, 3 successful children and 6 loving grandchildren
  • Publisher and distributor of the book Think on Your Feet-The Art of Thinking and Speaking Under Pressure
  • Commitment to life long learning by daily reading and membership in Toastmasters International and the Exchange Club of Gratiot County
  • President of Life Enhancing Programs - 1997 to Present
